Timmel Pavilion

Caucus faithful gathered on September 17 in the Timmel Pavilion in Pinehurst to savor David Hensley’s world-class pulled pork and beef brisket, cooked low and slow for 12+ hours. Second photo: Chef Hensley and his Smoker of Awesomeness go where ever conservatives assemble to defy and expose the Republican status quo. After dinner, the Caucus introduced its committee chairs and their objectives.

Carol M. Swain, PhD, author of, “The Adversity of Diversity” (2023), delivered a resounding denunciation of diversity, equity and inclusion programs in academia and the private sector during a presentation in Moore County on August 15, 2024, hosted by Sandhills Classical Christian School in Whispering Pines, NC. We The People Caucus kick-off event

JULY 2024

The clouds parted and brilliant sunshine erupted overhead just as the We The People Caucus BBQ Kickoff event began on July 25, 2024, at Pinehurst’s Cannon Park. Dinner followed by forward looking presentations attracted about 80 Moore County conservatives. Guests were challenged to identify five area citizens to accompany them when we convene again in September. Date TBA. (Thanks to the Sultan of Smoke, David Hensley, for providing authentic smoked pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken wings and decadent baked beans. Everyone depart nourished and inspired).
